There is an interesting story behind this rendering. In the 2001 fall semester I was taking Intermediate Algebra at Indian River Community College. A young woman named Tiffany sat in front of me in class; she also happened to be seated in the front row. Some of the people I went to high school with were also in the class and were sitting near me and I was showing them my 3D work. The professor was handing back our tests from the week before.
Tiffany turned to me and said "I bet you did better on the test." To say that I am weak in math is an understatement. I said that I thought that she scored better than I did. We started arguing back and forth as to who did better on the test. I don't remember what she'd have to give me if I won, but if she won I was supposed to do a 3D rendering for her.
I thought sure that she would have done better on the test than I did. I lost the bet. It's a bet that I didn't mind losing.
