This marker is fairly representative of the types of markers I found in the staff cemetery. They are simple blocks that are low to the ground. Most of them are very old (+100 years). I found that a lot of them are old enough that the inscription has worn down to the point that they are almost unreadable. Some have a date of birth and date of death. Some have an age at death (years only). Some have a date of death and age. It varies from marker to marker. This particular one says John Gable died September 25th. I'm not sure as to the year; even in person it was difficult to read. I know it was one of the ones that I found after 1900...possibly 1911.
