An excellent post as usual. We have so foetogtrn what it means to be gracious to one another and oh, how the consumer mentality has entered the Church. We feel entitled and when something doesn't go our way, we're marching right up to the person in charge or worse yet, the person that is providing the service, and rattling off our complaints. This is not a store with a customer service counter ready to respond to your complaints, this is the Kingdom. Let's exhibit some Kingdom behavior and be gracious. If there are legitimate things that need to be corrected, by all means, address them with the right person, but at the right time and in a way that encourages rather than crushes. In the meantime, a thank you is simply that thank you . But so concerned are we that people will think they did a good job that we'd rather address our criticisms versus acknowledging the time and effort that the person has put in.

Hahaha Well, you might not have to quit quite so drastically. You can pablroby give them two weeks notice But certainly, go out and explore even if it's just your own city for now. You'd be surprised at all the interesting places that are right on your doorstep if you dare to look. Go walking down a different street just for the sake of not having been there before, try new places, talk to new people. We often live in familiar cities with blinkers on it's harder to open our eyes up to them when we think we know the place or we can go out and do these things that other people talk about anytime we want then we often don't experience them at all. Try thinking of where you live in the eyes of a visitor. It really changes your perspective on things.
